The Mozart Effect

Mozart - everybody heard this name. This musical genius is known worldwide for his sonata's and symphonies (die Zauberflöte, Don Giovanni etc.) , but how many of you know about the benefits of listening to his compositions ? It's called - already guessed it - The Mozart effect and is believed to induce a improvement in the brains ability to visualize patterns and to manage visual information - thus helping you orientate better, thinking 3D - what is known as spatial intelligence. But, as studies have shown, listening to Mozart doesn't actually make you smarter! Which is somewhat, not that surprising. After all, we all listen to music, may it be country, hip-hop or rock music. Has it helped us pass the exams ? It didn't helped me!
